Szenische Verfasstheit der Subjektivität, Medienökologie der Psyche

Fragt man nach der Medialität des Psychischen, werden vor allem zwei Einsichten der Psychoanalyse bedeutsam: Die erste betrifft die szenische Verfasstheit von Subjektivität. Das Ich emergiert aus szenischen Konstellationen, die noch nicht perspektiviert sind, also noch keine ausdifferenzierten Pole zwischen Subjekt, Objekt und Handlung besitzen. Das Szenische durchzieht alle Lebensphasen, es ist die basale Dimension des Eingebundenseins in Werdensprozesse. Daraus ergibt sich eine zweite Einsicht: Die Psyche ist grundlegend ökologisch und poietisch zu verstehen. Sie wirkt als ein Zusammenhang, der zeitlich ausgedehnt ist und immer Äußeres wie Inneres, Objekte wie Infrastrukturen umfasst. Subjektivität ist nur eine ihrer Erscheinungen.

Scenic Constitution of Subjectivity, Media Ecology of the Psyche

When it comes to the mediality of the psyche, two psychoanalytic insights are of crucial relevance. The first addresses the scenic constitution of subjectivity. The self / ego emerges out of scenic constellations. It is characteristic for the scenic that there is no stable perspective and differentiations like subject, object, and act are not yet fixed. The scenic proceeds through all phases of life: it is the fundamental dimension of the subject’s involvement in its own becoming. It is from here that the second insight arises: The psyche has to be understood essentially as something ecological and poietic that acts as assemblage. It is extended temporally and always includes inner as well as outer elements, infrastructures as well as objects. Subjectivity is only one of its phenomena.
