Sondervan, Jeroen

Jeroen Sondervan is Open Access Publishing Consultant for Utrecht University. He has been a publisher at Amsterdam University Press from 2007 until 2016. For over 8 years, he has been working on open access journals and monographs, specifically in the fields of film and media studies. He published over 40 books in open access and was one of the initiators of the idea and developments of NECSUS – European Journal of Media Studies. He is currently a member of the Knowledge Exchange Open Access Group, the Dutch library consortium Open Access working group, and editor of the national platform openaccess.nl. In 2016, he started the website www.oamediastudies.com to inform media scholars about open access and related subjects.
