Euphorie und digitale Propaganda

Cis Menschen sind die Hauptadressat*innen von Anti-trans-Propaganda. Rechte Akteur*innen kolportieren so Cis-hetero-Extremismen, die – in nationalstaatlicher Rhetorik – Geschlechter auf ihre Reproduktionsfähigkeit verkürzt. Dies geschieht durch ‹digitale politische Propaganda› (DPP): massenhafte Manipulation digitaler Inhalte für politische Zwecke. DPP verwischt die Grenzen zwischen Desinformation, Misinformation, unglücklichem Framing und tendenziöser Lesart. So unterläuft DPP Gegenmittel wie Gesetzgebung, Moralität, Wahrheit und Medienkompetenz. Mittels des Musikvideos «Vibrators for Dictators» schlägt Luce deLire dagegen kontrafaktische Utopien vor, die den dysphorischen Affekten rechter Agitation kollektive euphorische Imagination als pre-enactment alternativer Sozialitäten entgegensetzen.

Cis people are the primary targets of anti-trans propaganda. Right-wing actors spread Cis-hetero extremism, which – in nationalistic rhetoric – reduces genders to their reproductive capacity. This is done by using ‹digital political propaganda› (DPP): the mass manipulation of digital content for political purposes. DPP blurs the lines between disinformation, misinformation, unfortunate framing, and biased interpretation. In this way, DPP undermines countermeasures such as legislation, morality, truth, and media literacy. With the music video «Vibrators for Dictators», Luce deLire creates counterfactual utopias that confront the dysphoric affects of right-wing agitation with collective euphoric imaginations as pre-enactments of alternative socialities.
